Linda Peterson Memorial BGEA Members' Children Scholarship

Linda Peterson Memorial BGEA Members’ Children Scholarship
The BGEA is offering scholarships of $1,500 to Association members’ children who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and involvement in school/community activities. These scholarships will be granted to students pursuing a post-high school degree or certificate in a two-or-four-year institution. Priority will be given to graduating seniors, but currently enrolled college students will also be considered. For the members’ scholarship, the applicants may be living in and/or attending school in a district other than a Battle Ground Public Schoolsl if the parent is a BGEA member, current or retired.
Axel Forsman Scholarship
In honor of Axel Forsman (a former Battle Ground School District Librarian) the Battle Ground Education Association is offering scholarships of $500 for graduates of the class of 2024 who exhibit exceptional service to home, school, and community. For the Axel Forsman scholarship, the applicant must be a graduate of Battle Ground Public Schools.
Gretchen Lindholm Scholarship
In honor of Gretchen Lindholm (a former Battle Ground Public Schools Speech Language Pathologist), the Battle Ground Education Association is offering scholarships of $1000 for graduates who exhibit exceptional interest and concerns for women in the workforce. The applicant must be a 2024 graduate of Battle Ground Public Schools.
These scholarships will be granted to students pursuing a post-high school degree or certificate in a two-or-four- year institution. All scholarships are non-renewable.
